The Second Annual F.I.H.C. Saddle Up for St. Jude Trail Ride will be held on Saturday April 24th, 2010 at the Parker Bowie Trails located at 1418 Parker Bowie Road in Iva, SC. The rain date will be Saturday May 1st, 2010. The ride will be from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Lunch is included in entry fee for riders (see below). Hot dog plates will have 2 hot dogs, chips, dessert and drink. Lunch will also be available for purchase to non-riders at $5.00 per plate. Please bring lawn chairs to sit in. There will be Door Prizes!!
Saddle Up for St. Jude is a fun horseback trail-riding event that raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Trail riders from all over the country have joined together to hold Saddle Up events to help St. Jude in its fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Every person who participates in a Saddle Up event helps in the life-saving research and treatment at St. Jude.Riders are asked to collect donations from sponsors based on every mile they ride or a flat donation. There is a PDF file here of a Sponsor Donation form that can be printed out and used for collecting donations. Sponsor collection envelopes are available at Tractor Supply, Southern States, and Abbeville Farm & Garden. A scan of the sponsor collection envelope is available here. Participants raising $150 or more receive: Saddle Up Saddle Pommel Bag (Lapel Pin, T-Shirt, & Hat)

Entry Fees: This is to help cover expenses at the arena, putting on the event, and the cost of the hot dog plates. Any left over proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
